Drug prices in Russia may severely limit
The State Duma may impose control over the cost of medicines in pharmacies of the country. Today the regions themselves set limits allowances, so the cost of medicines in different times, confirmed the head of the Pharmacy Guild of Helena Nevolina. This leads to the fact that the sale of cheap disappear requested medicines since expensive formulations chemists earn more. "If we are to build a state regulation, the way that the same medication at any pharmacy cost the same, it is in the interests of the patient," - said the expert.
She objected to the director of the Center of Social Economy David Melik-Guseinov. According to him, the Ministry of Health, and so sets the minimum price at registration of new drugs, comparing it with the prices abroad. Several years ago at the initiative of the Ministry of Health authorities have introduced registration selling prices of medicines from the list of VED. The idea to extend price caps on all medicines in the ministry has not yet commented.
